Product & furniture design.
One-offs, made well.
Bespoke pieces — built-ins, custom case goods, small-batch furniture, and product-design support from sketch through prototype. For interior projects that need something the catalog cannot give them, and for makers building their first run.
Some of the most useful pieces in a finished home cannot be ordered. A built-in that solves a difficult corner, a side table sized to a particular sofa, a small-batch chair for a hospitality project — these are the pieces this service is built for.
The studio works through the full design cycle: sketch, technical drawing, material sourcing, prototype, and review. Fabrication is handled in partnership with a small group of trusted makers in Chicago, the Midwest, and overseas, depending on the piece. Lead times vary by complexity.
